Our client is a Canadian-based eCommerce engineering firm helping merchants build and manage their digital store infrastructure, optimize customer experience, and convert traffic to sales more efficiently.

Solution Design and Architecture:

• Develop and implement scalable, robust, and secure eCommerce architectures.
• Lead the creation of architectural blueprints and technical specifications.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and customer requirements.

Project Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to developers, engineers, and other team members.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Present architectural solutions to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.

Technology Strategy:

• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in eCommerce.
• Advise clients on technology choices and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the firm's technology roadmap and innovation strategy.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce best practices for software development and architecture.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of eCommerce solutions.

‍

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on eCommerce.
• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Successfully led the implementation of three or more B2B or B2C eCommerce solutions.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and common integrations such as ERP, PIM, and payment gateways.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
