The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration and support of virtual/cloud based infrastructure using “Infrastructure as a code” practices. Reporting into the Infrastructure Services Technical Manager, he/she will be responsible for the design, build and implementation of technical solutions working towards migrating to the Cloud.
To work as a member of Global Infrastructure Services Team focusing on management and provisioning of Cloud/OnPrem based systems/services through automation rather than manual/interactive configuration tools
Essential Skills
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal
- Strong understanding of Cloud technologies specially AWS (Azure beneficial)
- Experience on DevOps and automation tools such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet, JSON, YAML
- Scripting and Infrastructure automation experience
- Continuous evolution and Agile delivery
- ITIL based service management framework
- Good understanding on Windows, Linux and VMware
- Graduate or higher
Preferred Technical Skills
- At least 5 years experience and certified in AWS/Azure to Associate Level
- AWS services like EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, CloudFormation, LAMDA, DirectConnect, Cost optimisation, etc.
- DevOps and Automation tools like Ansible, PowerShell, Linux Shell, Python, Git (GitHub), JSON, YAML, etc.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, CloudWatch, NewRelic
- Understanding of compliancy requirements and processes such as IT Security and Audit requirements, Business Continuity Management and
- Disaster Recovery techniques.
- Understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change management
