We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Test/QA Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of new features and existing systems through thorough testing practices. The ideal candidate will be skilled in test plan creation, manual testing, and regression testing, and will be familiar with BDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber/Gherkin

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and project functionality.
Perform manual testing on new features to verify functionality, usability, and performance.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new updates do not negatively impact existing systems.
Carry out smoke testing on releases to confirm basic functionality and stability.
Document testing processes, results, and issues found during testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
Utilize JIRA to track, report, and manage issues and bugs.
Actively participate in team meetings, project planning sessions, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:

‍

Proven experience as a Test/QA Analyst or in a similar role.
Proven experience in several types of Manual Testing such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, and Exploratory Testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including BDD.
Proven experience with Gherkin syntax and tools like Cucumber for writing test scenarios.
Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test cases and reporting issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience using Agile methodologies, especially Kanban or Scrum.
Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.

Desirable skills:

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
