Role Overview:

The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing automated deployment solutions for cloud-hosted applications, ensuring reliable and on-demand provisioning. This position will focus on creating and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) for AWS-managed services, contributing to a scalable and efficient cloud environment.

The successful candidate will oversee the architecture of DevOps solutions across the organization, enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, and ensure the documentation of procedures is up-to-date. Collaboration is key, as the role involves working closely with project teams to solve complex infrastructure, security, and development challenges. Additionally, the DevOps Engineer will conduct root cause analysis to resolve production errors, ensuring operational stability and performance.

Job Description:

Implement and maintain automated application deployment so that cloud hosted applications can be provisioned reliably and on demand.
Implement and maintain ‘infrastructure as code’ so that AWS hosted Managed Service resources can be provisioned reliably and on demand.
Implement the DevOps architecture for a complex organization.
Manage and improve the continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD) process.
Maintain the documentation of the processes.
Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problems.
Perform root cause analysis for production errors.

Qualifications:

Mid Level (Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps)
Senior Level (Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps)
Hands-on experience with setting up the DevOps infrastructure from the ground up.
Familiar with working on feature branches, reviewing, merging, tagging releases etc.
Hands-on knowledge of Source Code Management (Version Control System) tools like Git or GitHub.
Knowledge of .Net, C#.
Prior experience working with AWS, and Linux OS.
Prior experience of using Terraform.
Familiarity with the application deployment lifecycle (Integration, QA, Staging, Production).
Experience with setting up Devops architecture for Websites, APIs, Database, mobile applications.
Strong focus on customer service and ensuring the needs of various stakeholders (internal & external) are satisfied at all times.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
Driven by deadlines, with the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

Prior experience of working with Nuget.
Working with Spotinst or similar.
Travel industry experience.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field.
