• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA automation suite tailored to our React-based application and microservices architecture.
• Create and maintain end-to-end test cases using Cypress, running tests 1-2 times a day to ensure the stability and performance of the product.
• Build and integrate unit tests for Python-based microservices to enhance code reliability and catch issues early.
• Establish smoke screen testing procedures and regularly review and update the testing environment to align with the staging backup schedule.
• Utilize Cucumber to facilitate scalability and allow non-technical team members to contribute to the testing process.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to incorporate their feedback and address product issues effectively.
• Engage in the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that testing is integrated seamlessly into the development process.
• Apply an analytical mindset to evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that could improve the testing framework.
• Provide clear explanations of testing issues and results to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that all team members are informed and aligned.

• Proven experience in QA automation, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end testing using Cypress.
• Strong background in testing within a microservices environment and Python unit testing.
• Experience with testing React applications.
• Experience with Cucumber and its use in scaling testing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in smaller team environments and agile or start-up settings.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical team members.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to suggesting and implementing new testing tools and methodologies.
• Previous experience in SaaS products is highly desirable.
