The Senior QA Tester will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and quality of software products. This position requires a strong background in both manual and automated testing, particularly for public-facing websites. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain automation frameworks, conduct comprehensive testing across multiple dimensions (API, load, functional, and regression), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate system functionality. With an emphasis on transitioning from manual to automated testing, this role offers the opportunity to lead QA automation initiatives and implement best practices that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.

• Conduct thorough manual testing for various scenarios, including:

  • Unit Testing

• Ensure testing coverage adheres to OpenAPI specifications (e.g., Swagger).
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to validate websites, APIs, and data functionality.
• Navigate and address ambiguous acceptance criteria through effective communication.
• Leverage Jira to document and track testing efforts.
• Bring expertise in QA testing for public-facing websites, with 3-5 years of experience.

• Proficiency in API testing tools like Curl, Postman, or Insomnia.
• Strong understanding of OpenAPI specifications (e.g., Swagger).
• In-depth knowledge of various testing types: API, Load/Performance, Functional, Regression, UAT, Unit, and Cross-Browser Testing.
• Familiarity with Jira for validating website, API, and data functionality.
• Proven ability to collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality testing practices.
• 5 years of QA testing experience for public-facing websites.

• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cucumber to complement manual testing efforts.
• Experience transitioning from manual to automated API testing.
• Expertise in creating and managing automation frameworks.
