When do I start paying and are there any upfront costs?

You only start paying once we successfully place a developer with your team. There are no recruitment fees, no upfront placement costs, and no hidden extras. We charge a simple, transparent monthly fee per person that covers everything.

Is there a long-term contract or commitment?

We prioritize flexibility. When you first partner with us, we ask for an initial three-month commitment to the partnership (not a specific person) to ensure we find the right fit. After this initial period, all future hires move to a simple one-month notice period, allowing you to scale your team up or down as needed.

What happens if the developer isn't the right fit?

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. We offer a 2-week money-back guarantee if your hire isn’t a fit. Beyond that, if a developer needs to be replaced at any point, we will handle the sourcing and replacement quickly at no additional cost to you.

How long does it take to get a developer onboarded?

We move fast. Typically, we deliver two vetted candidates for each role within 7 days. For example, we recently scaled a full technical team of 12 developers for a US-based company in just one month. The speed depends on how quickly you can provide the necessary role information.

Who handles the legal, payroll, and compliance work?

We do. Cloud Employee takes care of all local payroll, taxes, benefit compliance, and legal requirements across our global coverage areas (US, UK, EU, LATAM, AUS, PH, etc.). You receive one consolidated invoice in your local currency, allowing you to focus entirely on building your product.

What is included in the monthly fee?

The fee is all-inclusive. It covers the developer’s salary, a dedicated account manager, a local hiring team, $10M+ liability insurance, and the infrastructure needed for them to work. There are no surprises; the rate is fixed in your local currency to protect you from exchange rate fluctuations.
