As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting, building, and optimizing the data infrastructure that powers the client’s products and business decisions. You’ll be collaborating cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure the availability, quality, and usability of data across the organization.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Build scalable data architectures for structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data quality, data governance, and security.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data into analytics and operational platforms.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Lead data infrastructure initiatives and provide strategic input on new technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to ensure best-in-class cloud-native data solutions.

• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and optimization.
• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Proven experience building and optimizing large-scale data architectures.

• Experience with Scala or Java (especially for big data tools like Spark).
• Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark Streaming.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Background in data governance, cataloging, and data quality monitoring frameworks.
