Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to drive agile best practices and optimize software development processes. The ideal candidate will take ownership of agile delivery, ensuring teams work efficiently and predictably. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of delivery challenges, standardize agile execution, and make a real impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of development teams. The Senior Agile Delivery Lead will play a key role in driving change, ensuring teams are delivering high-quality work, on time, and in a structured, predictable manner. Job Description:
- Leading and coaching software development teams on Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Implementing structured sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery tracking using JIRA or similar tools.
- Analyzing sprint metrics to optimize team performance and improve predictability.
- Collaborating with distributed or offshore teams to ensure seamless agile execution.
- Facilitating stakeholder communication, aligning development, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Ensuring alignment between development and testing teams, supporting QA and DevOps processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach within software development teams.
- Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks, with experience rolling out agile best practices across teams.
- Strong sprint planning and backlog management skills, ensuring work is properly estimated and delivered on time.
- Hands-on experience managing JIRA (or similar tools) to enforce structured workflows and real-time tracking.
- Ability to analyze sprint metrics and optimize performance, improving predictability and efficiency.
- Experience working with distributed or offshore development teams in an agile environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage developers, QA, DevOps, and business leaders.
- Understanding of QA and DevOps workflows, ensuring alignment between development and testing teams.
Optional/Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe) highly desirable.
- Background in software development, QA, or DevOps is an advantage but not required.
- Experience working in travel, e-commerce, or financial services industries preferred.
- Ability to influence teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, driving improvements without direct authority.
