The Position

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the successful Python developer will join our growing tech team as a back-end application developer. The tech team exists to solve our business and operational challenges, and we need someone with the creative technical skills to help us achieve that.

The role involves a large amount of new Python app development, legacy PHP support, and SQL coding, We primarily develop on Google Cloud Platform and Rackspace Cloud services. Most of our server work involves developing and maintaining data-driven applications, as well as data download and analysis services.

We are actively moving from PHP to Python, so we are looking for an experienced Python developer to help us migrate and advise on establishing our Python workflows and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

PHP, using a framework like Laravel or CodeIgniter
Python, using a framework like Django
SQL Development

Agile development processes

Git (extra extra credit for having an active GitHub account)
Google AdWords Scripts
HTML5/CSS
